Recent Changes to NCBouldering:

•an events calendar has been added to the BCC section.
-this Caledar serves the High Country, North Carolina, and the Southeasetern region. It is one of the more constantly updated pages. While the calendar is not compedious with every event, it has some of the important ones. If you feel there is a noteworthy event, be it access related, cleanup, slideshow/presentation, or other, please don't hesitate to contact me
9/04...
•the site is in the process of being changed from the old "poster" format to regular HTML. I hope this more standard format will load more quickly and become easier to surf around with. Some very minor slice elements have been added to make it a little easier to find info you want out of the pages.
•a page for the Boone Climbers Coalition has been added...
-the intent of these pages is to help raise awareness for our local organization and to provide yet another source to inform the public of our events and meetings.
•the news (as you probably know by now) and the news board have been dropped.
-the news had the original intent of providing content and psych to keep people visiting the site. Due to squabbling within the local Boone populations the "spray" aspect of the news was dropped. Some believed that this "spray" unnecessarily "hyped the area. The result was a leaner set of news briefs which evolved into the news board.
-the news concept is still evolving as it is necessity to keep people interested in coming back to the site to become aware of access changes or alerts....
